There Are Three Materials Of Timing Belt

1. Rubber synchronous belt material: high-quality synthetic neoprene plus skeleton material, suitable for imported high-quality glass fiber rope plus tooth surface with nylon 66 high elastic cloth plus accessories with various purposes.




Rubber synchronous belt has dynamic bending, crack resistance, good performance, excellent ozone performance, aging resistance, heat resistance, oil resistance and wear resistance. Widely used in textile, automobile, chemical fiber, papermaking, printing, chemical machinery and equipment.




(1) Glass fiber tensile layer




The glass fiber stretching layer is a rope composed of multiple glass fibers, which is spirally wound on the width of the belt at the pitch line of the belt, and has high strength, small elongation, corrosion resistance and good heat resistance.




(2) Neoprene tape back




The back of the neoprene belt firmly adheres the glass fiber to the asphalt line and protects the tensile material. In the case of a belt, the back of the belt must be used to prevent damage caused by friction. It's not just polyurethane tape. The back has excellent hydrolysis resistance and heat resistance.




(3) Neoprene tape teeth




The teeth are made of neoprene with high shear strength and hardness. It requires precise molding and precise distribution to properly engage with the groove of the pulley. The root of the tooth should be kept at the specified distance from the pitch line. No change.




(4) Nylon cloth layer




Nylon cloth layer is the anti friction part of the protective belt. It should have excellent wear resistance and be composed of nylon cloth with small friction coefficient.




Neoprene synchronous belt has better hydrolysis resistance, heat resistance and impact resistance than polyurethane synchronous belt, and its transmission power range is large. Especially in high-power transmission, polyurethane synchronous belt can not be compared. The working temperature is usually - 34 degree 80 degree .




2. Polyurethane synchronous belt material / material: Polyurethane belt back plus steel wire rope (or polyester rope) stretching layer plus polyurethane belt teeth




Polyurethane synchronous belt is generally made of nylon wire (or steel wire, copper wire) as the stretching body, and polyester is cast, which has the characteristics of oil resistance, impact resistance and beauty. Polyurethane timing belt is hard and wear-resistant, but the guide rail is not as good as rubber timing belt.

(2) Working temperature: - 30 degree C plus 80 degree C, which can withstand temperatures up to plus 110 degree C in a short time

3. High temperature resistant synchronous belt material:




Silicone synchronous belt is a kind of synchronous belt made with special formula. This special silica gel can be used for a long time at a high temperature between 250 degree and 300 degree , so it is often suitable for synchronous belts that need to work in high-temperature places, such as high-temperature baking synchronous belts.
